1. Who is responsible for your data
Lytheron OÜ operates FleTaxi and is the controller for FleTaxi website, account, billing, security and support data. When a passenger books a transport service from an independent taxi or private-hire operator using FleTaxi, that operator normally determines the purpose of the ride-related processing and acts as controller for the transport relationship; Lytheron processes the operator's data to provide the platform and may act as processor under the operator's instructions.
2. Data we process
Depending on how FleTaxi is used, data may include account and contact information, company details, booking and passenger information, driver and vehicle data, ride status, live location while a driver actively shares GPS, support communications, and technical/security records such as timestamps, device/browser information and service logs.
3. Why we process it
We process data to create and secure accounts, provide booking and dispatch functionality, deliver driver and passenger experiences, send transactional messages, prevent abuse, provide support, comply with law and operate the service. The legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests in running and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where the law specifically requires it.
4. Sharing and service providers
Data is shared only as needed with the relevant taxi operator and its authorised users, and with infrastructure providers used for hosting, authentication/database services, transactional email, routing/geocoding and map delivery. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users, the service or legal rights.
5. International transfers
FleTaxi is operated from the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, Lytheron uses an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards where required.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant account, service, contractual, security and legal purpose. Ride and passenger data controlled by an operator is retained according to the operator's instructions and applicable contractual settings, subject to legal requirements and backup/security cycles.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority. For a ride booked with an operator, contact that operator first when the request concerns the transport relationship; Lytheron will assist where required.
